Sunwind batteries are based on AGM technology. AGM batteries are sealed and completely maintenance-free batteries with excellent properties. Good charge acceptance, low self-discharge, no gas formation or acid hazards. The service life of the batteries is the best in its class when the battery is used correctly. The service life is shortened if the number of deep discharges increases or when the cottage is visited frequently.
An AGM battery is not a deep discharge battery! Many different channels and discussion boards often imply that an AGM battery is intended for deep discharge.
